Candle Making 101 is a "dipped candle making course". This course teaches students the traditional craft of creating candles by repeatedly dipping a cotton wick into melted wax, allowing layers to build up, resulting in a hand-crafted candle;. Students will be focusing on the techniques of temperature control, wax selection & theory behind wax selection, wick preparation, and creating consistent, aesthetically pleasing dipped candles, often using beeswax as the primary material.
